Charm of Lucerne by night

It was a wet evening but little did it deter our plan.  A celebration was in order.  We walked across the wooden bridge, dashing here and there, dodging the rain while trying to pick a restaurant.  It was Rick’s birthday!

We settled on this beautiful place…..Zunfthausrestaurant Pfistern (I know, long name!)

It was proved to be a right choice.

Lucerne is such a peaceful place with picturesque night scenery.  A little gem in Switzerland.

Expensive and elegant.  A big contrast to Italy!  Everything is expensive here, people are elegantly dressed and not a single begger or running "stall" in sight.  Definitely a home residence to the upper class.
