Winter wonderland

One month into spring and I finally had these last batch of our winter photos sorted. Where did the time go?  In less than 3 months we are going to bid 2017 goodbye and welcome the new year.  It dawned on me that time flashes through like never before these few years.  Too fast it is daunting.  Is it the age thing?  Or may be I am just greedy....

Mount Cook

Our anniversary trip and this was 2.5 months ago!  Absolutely adore the spectacular view of Mt Cook and totally amazed by the starry night sky.   

Vivid Sydney

I was so enthralled by the Vivid Sydney 2 years old during my gals trip I vowed to bring my kids (especially AJ) there one day.  So we finally did this year as a 3-day long weekend getaway.  To be perfectly frank, having to see what I saw 2 years ago, this year Vivid was rather disappointing.  It was still amazing by all means but not as good as the one I had been to.  Nonetheless, it is still a great experience for AJ.  Arwen was too young to enjoy and she was already building her castle in the air while we were checking out the lights.  Oh and I should also mention that this was Arwen's first overseas trip (not counting when she was still in my tummy lol)!

We're now officially park rangers!  LOL It is a huge park with endless picnic spots, playgrounds and challenging cycling trails.  We are there whenever the weather is promising and there's no other obligations.
