Soaking up the Christmas spirit
Filling up with some yoghurt ice-cream prior to the parade
Police car Christmas present anyone?
Er.....Christmas nativity scene?
Pirates on a giant tractor
Summer Santa on a boat! (Gosh he must be sweating like waterfall)
Marvelling at Franklin Road's Christmas lighting. The Grinch is definitely not welcome to live here.
Christmas party at AJ's daycare centre....and he turned into batman!
What a sudden change of character as soon as he got the mask on...like saying:"don't mess with me!" LOL
Told ya he is in cool mode
And the highlight is VIP passes to the famous Coca Cola Christmas in the Park!
21 metre Christmas tree
There were approx 150k people flooding the Domain
Stan Walker strutting his stuff
Lost kids won't be lost much longer

Taylor Swift in Auckland - The RED Tour
So I finally laid my eyes on Taylor Swift, in real life form. She is as beautiful as in the photos, if not more captivating. That pair of alluring and soul grabbing eyes, and...and...the endless infinity like slender legs...oh my oh my, even I as a woman find her irresistible. She is near perfect, I dare say.
There was a lot of RED, as depicted by the name of this tour and title of her latest album. Red shoes, red lips, red microphone, red guitar etc. Her performance was unbelievable she had the entire crowd at their feet, cheering for her. The whole time. The screaming (from the passionate fans) were loud and at one stage unbearable. Geez, I can’t imagine how I could ever survive in Justin Bieber’s concert.
I absolutely enjoyed the show especially the finale. Swift was in a red sequinned coat and top hat, singing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” while the catwalk stage lifted up and spun her round across the audience. The concert hall was raining confetti before she headed back to the stage, saying thank you with a big bow and disappearing back under the stage.
Although I have always adored her I wasn't like a fan, but now, I surely am!

When vain pot meets board game geek
Seriously, how these two got together and marrying each other is beyond me!
This is where I hide all my treasures. At least 3x bigger than my previous one in Wellington. It is actually not that big so you can imagine how pathetically small the one I had before. Well, ideally I would want something like Mariah Carey’s but unless I am earning as much as her that would remain a dream. In reality, I will have to settle with this one. Just hope that I don’t ever need to take possession of other rooms.
I even have spare room for Rick’s jackets! Rick is using the standard size built-in closet in the home office and obviously that’s not quite enough. Hahahaha. And before anyone judge me for being mean kicking him (his clothes) out, he has actually got himself a fullsize double bedroom sorely dedicated to his treasures i.e. board game collections (or should I say addiction? LOL).
Fair game I say.
Oh yes, it is a real addiction. Seriously, take a look at those “drugs”!!!
And here it is, the mother of all “drugs” – War of the Ring limited collector addition, shipped all the way from Italy omg!
Price? Don’t ask! Good game? Don’t know. You don’t play something like this, you only display it and may be "molest" it once in a while. Hahahahaha
Emmm......now I want a room for my own addiction too........

Wiggly weekend
The Wiggles was here for their celebration tour, last week. They were here for their final shows together before 3 of the original members retired into backstage roles and hand over their legacy to young performers comes end of 2012.
AJ loves them. We knew this is the show that must not be missed. So, as soon as the tickets came on sale 3 months ago, we grabbed our shares to make sure we could wiggle with The (original) Wiggles one last time.
Well as luck would have it, I have also won a family pass to one of the shows from my company’s prize draw. So as crazy as it sounds, we watched two shows, one on Saturday afternoon, then another morning show the next day. It was indeed a wiggly weekend for us. The biggest winner is of course my little man seeing his favourite tv figures come to live (twice!!) although he has been to their concert before, he was just too young to even understand what was going on then. LOL

I was hoping AJ would be all dancing and jumping like most of the kids normally do in their concert, but boy was I wrong. He was just plain stunned and completely star struck. LOL The characters from the DVDs all came to live, he probably was pretty much in shock if I may say so. He was always confident in dealing with people/strangers but hid behind daddy when the yellow wiggle, Greg talked to him. Well, I suppose I sort of knew that would happen knowing my kid but was in absolute denial. LOL
Anyway, he got better in the 2nd show, but still spending almost the entire show sitting on the chair with two big eyes, quietly absorbing than expressing.

Overall, the shows were great. It was seen as the end of an era after 21 years of entertaining the littlies. I felt quite emotional since I have been listening to their songs and watching them for 2 years! They have touched AJ’s live, and thus mine. They introduced the new trio in the show too. They are young, talented and full of energy, but still, the new faces are yet to grow on me and I would expect same goes to AJ although I believe they will do great given times.
Well, hats off to the Wiggles, so long Jeff, Greg & Murray, and all the best to the new era!
