How I ended up buying this sweatshirt was because of a Taj Mahal printed sweatshirt that I chanced upon but sold out everywhere online. I never lied, online shopping is evil. VERY. Disappointed I was, I went to have a browse through the rest of the collection for comfort and surprise surprise, I saw this. I thought ”Hey that’s not bad!”. So there, my fate lies within New York!

Clutch crush
I think that started about a year or so ago. Not sure why. I was always into big, roomy bag. Yeah, I liked to move a house every time I went out. That's then. Now is the complete opposite. I prefer small and compact, bringing just essentials not my whole estate! LOL How people changed huh!
I find clutch rather classy though sometimes not as convenient when you need both hands..especially when rummaging through racks of clothing. :P Wristlet would definitely come in handy. My current goal? To add more clutches into my repertoire!

Colour the winter
My life is slowing down. Sounds rather depressing but hey it is winter. It’s supposed to be slow…and growing fat. LOL
So the best activity for this frosty season? SHOPPING!! Both online and offline! Hahahaha. The never ending sales and incredible price slashes always keep the spirit up and high.
I am obsessed with colours lately. I see it as a way to have a bit more fun in dressing up and of course lighten up this otherwise dull and gloomy season. It is my new found game. And so I have been collecting colourful winter gear mainly coats, scarves and knitwear.
It is an ongoing mission.....

Karen Murrell lipsticks
When you like something so much, you buy multiple of them, within a short time span.
Lipsticks by our very own Auckland based Karen Murrell. 100% natural, environmental friendly and non animal tested. Her lipsticks carry the Ecocert organic certification. And it cost only NZD30 which is far more cheaper than those high-end brands that I previously used.
The lipstick is long wearing and non drying thanks to all of the nourishing ingredients. Although there are only 9 beautiful shades from the range, there is something for everyone from natural to bright and bold like ‘Fuschia Shock’ and ‘Coral Dawn’ which are among what I have owned so far.
Another thing worth mentioning is all packaging is recyclable including the lipstick canisters! The boxes are made out of 100% recycled paper and the canisters are made of a corn resin based material which once buried, would start to decompose within 100 days. So now you can spend your money to be pretty and be totally guilt free!

New couch
Mine. 3 years since I first laid my eyes on it.
This giant holds 2 persons and swivels 360 degree (which I only found out when it was delivered yesterday!). Why did we took 3 years? Well, it was just too big for our previous house. Then we spent a fortune on other essentials when we moved to Auckland. So here it is today, better late than never!
Now, my worry? Me becoming a couch potato!

Bag organiser
This is my best buy of the month (so far…haha), costing only NZ$6. This compact size bag organiser fits almost all my bags apart from those small size evening bag. It makes my bag changing exercise so much easier, quick and pain-free! And no more scrambling for keys, phone, wallet etc. Love!

My new little toy
I would like to say I am a person who likes to be at the forefront of things where possible. However, when it comes to technology I am way behind the crowd. Just couldn’t be bother. I have a mind of old woman in this aspect. LOL.
I remember, the first phone that caught my breath and made me proud was my Nokia 8850 Gold. It was a piece of art then, and now a piece of beautiful antique in dad’s collection. That was my only pinnacle in mobile phone. Since then, I stopped following trend. The pace was just too hard to keep up with. I couldn’t care less about the latest technology, just a phone with call and text function would suffice. Pretty old school huh! I guess I was hanging on to my 8850 and resisted to move on. Or there was nothing for me to move on to.
Then, all changed last Friday when I managed to lay my hands on the latest piece of technology – Samsung Galaxy S2. I had a long thorough consideration before I put my order down. I had my worries on how I could keep up with all these techies after been living in a “cave” for so long. And the worst fear I had of all was to use this piece of art as a “call & text” phone not utilising the best of what it can offer. That would be a real waste of my hard earned money!

That didn’t happen, luckily!
The super user friendly interface of this phone sucked me right in! I was like a little kid who has just been given a new toy (Rick’s comment), got all excited and grinned from cheek-to-cheek as I was running my fingers all over the phone! LOL I was (still am) blown away with how powerful the little gadget is, it is scary!
So yeah, I am now bringing this little baby back to my “cave”, and I think I won't be out for another 10 years (may be?) Hahaha!

YSL volupte rouge
Picked this up tonight at St Lukes. I am normally not a lipstick person, but more a lipgloss craze. However, am glad to catch this one. This award winning lipstick is a mix of a lipstick and a lipgloss. It is creamy and rich. When I put it on, I could feel the silkiness instantly. It leaves my lips nourished and looking glossy. Another bonus point, it has SPF15!
The lipstick comes with very glamorous elegant casing with a mirror on top of the lid for touch up. How convenient!
The colour I got is #13 Peach Passion. I really really like this colour. It is sort of a pinkish peach. The other colour I tried was #8 Fetish Pink, which somehow bring my complexion down, looks funny. This #13 however, compliments my complexion and give me a fresh look (I think). This is definitely a must have in every gal's make-up repertoire!

Dior Cannage Colour Collection Eye Palette
Another Dior palette added to my repertoire. Can never express enough, my love for Dior eye-shadows and I am a real sucker to their dainty, girlie packaging!
This palette has 8 eye shadows along with 2 double end applicators packaged in beautiful purple patent leather with their Signature Cannage stitching. It has a "D" ring attached to the top right corner. Very Dior!
The selection of colours make this an all round palette for natural day look and glamourous evening look. Just perfect for travelling, be it a holiday or a business trip. This will certainly be my best travelling buddy!

Haul of the month
All too tempting. Thanks to my evil twin!
Here is the biggest and most coveted purchase of the month........
Been eyeing for this when it came out last year, but believe it or not, none can be found in New Zealand. Thanks to internet shopping, I got this all the way from Hong Kong!
Now, did I talk about saving $$$$? Aarrrgh, to hell with it!
