A year older...a year wiser

Due to family commitment, we celebrated a few days in advance at this restaurant - Bennys Again.  It was a lunch affair.  I dug out this bright Alexander Wang number that hubby bought for me when I was 5 months pregnant.  And that was more than a year ago.  Luckily it fits perfectly!

On the real day, hubby and I dashed out for a quick lunch at The Oxford.  Simple meal but an enjoyable one.  To date, I am still thinking about the mushroom pasta.  It was divine!

Concert Saturday

It is true that as your children are growing up you get more busy.  Chauffeuring them here and there for their activities and fulfilling their ever growing needs.  Although I now have less time for myself I am more satisfying now than ever.  Never in a million years would I see myself living this life, it is tough but rewarding.

I am happy.

OOTD | Into the woods

It was an impromptu decision that brought us to Lake Tekapo this winter.  Flight tickets, car rental and accommodation all arranged within a week and off we went!  It was our 20th anniversary weekend too.  It too was the first time flying Arwen on the plane + road trip. Thankfully she was just like her big bro, travel friendly!

We didn't take much photos this time.  With a 5 months old in toll, it's proved too hard. Below photos were taken when my little one was having a nap while her big bro looking out for her in the car.

OOTD | The little white dress

I have this fondness of pairing ivory/white with gold especially for an evening outing.  For a more casual daytime look, I normally would complete the look with nude sandals and a mini shoulder bag.

OOTD | Pop of red

Winter has arrived!  We had an extremely warm autumn that I feel like we didn't have it at all.  I missed my favourite season completely.  Winter is still pleasant, well when it is crisp and sunny, much like today.  I have always avoid wearing dark colours during winter.  To me, the weather is already dull enough, why make it worse?
