Gold Coast shopping treat

Due to the wet weather, my initial plans of outdoor activities could not be executed (geez...how come sounds so very "Mission Impossible") till later. So we ended up doing some unanticipated indoor activities - SHOPPING!! This trip was meant to be lazing around by the beach, taking photos and some exciting outdoor activities. Shopping was indeed in the plan but only minor, but when the weather forced you in and when there were like so cheap can die bargains surrounding you, it would be so wrong not to give in. I really didn't expect to bring back such a steals! (^_^)

First stop was Pacific Fair, the largest shopping mall in Gold Coast with 260 stores. The whole design of the mall is so cartoon-y that I felt like I was shopping in Disneyland!

Then, went to Harbour Town, a shopping complex specialising in outlet stores for many big names in retailing. Of course, there are also not-so-big names and small names can be found! That is where I stole the most bargains and shopped till I dropped! Muahahahaha

So, there gone my two days.

Hi Doreen, hey, I love that pic of you in yellow shorts ad that, ha ha designer sandals? You look nice looking casual.
I always say when admiring beautiful women, must see them in casuals as well in cocktail dresses...
Some look nice in one....but Doreen....you look real nice.
Come to think of it, I have not worn sandals ages too, ha ha.
But with our -14'c temp outside and snow, ha ha...have to wait 6 months.

How come women always have something to buy? Arhaaaa ha ha. Applicable to my wife too.

I am just waiting for those famous words, "I have nothing to wear", as we have a X'mas party on the 22nd and on the 24th.
Just had on on Saturday....
You have a great week Doreen, best regards, Lee.

Yeah, it is a very cute shopping mall.

Declan Isaac:
Haha, yeah, I also couldn't believe I actually stepped out of the door with thongs!! Well, it proved to be the most practical for a humid, hot and rainy day out. The locals wore like that too, so I didn't feel akward at all.

I went to Pacific Mall when I was in GC but didn't buy a lot of things because there wasn't any sale then. :(

Yeah, I guess I was lucky when it comes to shopping sometimes. Also it is near Christmas so sale everywhere.

mistipurple:
This is so true Misti. Whatever weather condition it is, the most important is the person you sharing the time with.

Uncle Lee:
Haha Lee, yes there is always something to buy. Shopping is an ongoing activity for gals. It is a lifetime activity! Hahaha

JustJasmine:
Yep, it was pretty tiring. Walking and trying clothes non-stop. Good exercise! LOL

EastCoastLife:
Yeah, if not for sale, I wouldn't have bought anything too. Their original price just not worth the buy.

~(( ilovepearly ))~:
Ermm.....not really. It was very warm but wet.

Trinity:
Just make sure you bring a spare luggage bag with you. Then sure can take the loots home. Hehehehe
