Another leaving........

Yet another couple leaving Wellington for their home country.

I've been here for a good 15 years, 9 years straight in Wellington, the other 6 years all around NZ. I have made many friends and have seen many leaving. People come, people go yet I am still here. Good or bad?

We had a farewell dinner with them at Flying Burrito Brothers, a popular Mexican restaurant.

I wish them well, and hope to visit them one day in Xi-an.

as long as you are doing okay in NZ, no reason to return as yet i think. unless parents or family needs you lah. otherwise your parents can still look after themselves and if they don't mind you there, i guess it's ok.
asia is not such a good place, but this is coming from someone who does not know much about world situations.
for me, my town is just safe. and that is the only big thing about it, which in a way also means a lot. but quality of life is zilch. only speaking for myself strictly. because my life is stressful, cannot blame the land i am in, in a way. but in some ways, must blame also lah.
wahh so long should stop.
hugs hugs to athan too!

now we wish that we are staying here in NZ permanently. rather than 1 yr here and 2 yrs there :( But after living more than 2 yrs in Jap, Shen and i both love Jap very much, love the Sale in Jap and the peaceful life style. Jap people are so polite and in the shop they treat u like a VIP no mater what u wear and what u look like (never thought i would say this in a million times). You are still looking very gorgeous.

Japan is such a beautiful place. I have a friend who dream to retire there. I still yet to see it myself, may be one day. Japanese manner is top notch!

I'm actually thinking of relocating to NZ after graduating. I love its offering of a wonderful natural landscape, slow-paced life and obviously, great people! But I have no idea of the job offerings there. Hmm...

You're studying architecture right? There should be plenty of job opportunities here but you probably need to take a course or something to gain NZ architect registration. Ya, NZ is such a great place if you like a lay back lifestyle and outdoor activities. Hope to see you here one day!

Ppl keep asking me to go to the big cities like Sg, KL or the booming towns in China to seek jobs but I just dont like the idea of living in jams, stress, and chaos each and everyday of my life. Yes, cities can be very exciting and fun but I prefer to be in touch with nature more. NZ sounds really really promising and the landscape really blows me away. The standard of living aint as high as those Western countries but still it promises a high quality of life for the people.

So there are plenty of job opps in this field? This really gives me hope. :)
