Stone skipping…..a trick long forgotten. I had never mastered this skill (well, more like I couldn’t be bother to learn. LOL) but was always in awe when others did it. That was in my teenage years of course. The kids were amazed by this trick. They took quite a number of trials then AJ just couldn't be bother, he picked a big rock and off it went down the lake. LOL. He found this more satisfying I think. LOL

AJ said that rock looks like a mobile phone and off he started talking to it. LOL |
Another highlight of this trip was to finally jump on the Ferburgers bandwagon. The world famous Queenstown’s exclusive gourmet burger maker, dubbed the best burger in the world by some is not to be missed during your visit to Queenstown. Just brace yourself for an unbelievably long queue during peak hours. Believe me, calling Queenstown my 2nd home, I didn’t even know the existence of this place until this trip. Well, I did notice the long queue in the past but didn’t bother to check it out. My thought was, oh I don’t know….may be some sort of free beer going on or discounted meals. I couldn’t care less. But this time, I can’t remember how and what prompted us to dig more about this place. Curiosity probably. A quick wiki, and we were like woah, we have a treasure land just a few shops away from our apartment!
They open 22 hours, so we went during the wee hours to avoid the queue. The burgers? Big and taste heavenly! I love love and love their lamb burger and pork (with crispy pork crackers!!!! OMG!) burger! My goal is to try all their burgers.

Lastly, let me show you a funny picture that Rick managed to capture....a perfect wrong angle liven up an otherwise boring photo! LOL
