Valentine @ Tom Tom

We have yonks ago stopped celebrating on the exact date to avoid the rush.  This year we celebrated on the 15th Feb.  Why crammed yourself into the already crowded restaurant and endure slow service while you can have your peace and quiet just a day before or after?

We tried out this new place - Tom Tom Bar & Eatery, located at the newly renovated Victoria Park Market.  Elevated above Victoria Park, a seat by the balcony rewards you the leafy Victoria park view.  The bar has this urban chic interior setting and is divided into different sitting styles to cater for different crowd – formal dining area, alfresco-style dining completed with daybeds and loungers and a romantic French garden style corner which my son reckon it is for princesses.  LOL

We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff.  It was a rather quiet evening in terms of patrons so we got to pick our table.  I personally would prefer the French garden but we ain’t no royals.  Hahahaha.  Truth is the table was rather small for us to be eating comfortably.  So we ended up sitting at the big table of 7 with all the space to abuse.

The live performance by a cute guitarist/singer completed the package.  Perfect ambience.  The Food was swiftly served without any compromise to the quality.  They were delectable.

It is a place worth returning to.  For sure.

Rick indulged himself two BIG glasses of asahi while I concluded my evening with a glass of latte.  Guess who was driving home?  LOL
