2nd day in Paris. We had a lot to see today, it's FULL ON! See my freaking sleepy face you know it was damn early in the morning. Zzzzzzz~~~~
It was so early that I couldn't even smile properly, lack of facial exercise!
Joan of Arc statue at the Place des Pyramides
Here it is again from the side
Eiffel Tower
Once criticised as a useless and mostrous junk. The Gustave Eifeel's iconic tower eventually earned its reputation when 2 million visitors made pilgrimage to the tower the first year it was completed. The iron tower is 320m high and 7000 tonne.
Arc de Triomphe
One of the most famous monuments in Paris, commissioned in 1806 after Napoleon's stunning victory at Austerlitz. Standing over 51 m in height and 45 m wide, it is the second largest triumphal arch in existence!
Champs-Elysées
The grandest boulevard running off the Arc de Triomphe, one of the most famous streets in the world. The boulevard is 2km long, popular with its cafes, theatres and luxury designer shops.
Grand Palais - a large glass exhibition hall
Petit Palais Art Museum
Concorde Square
The 22.83 m Obelisk was installed in 1836
