Hong Kong Day 5: Kowloon at leisure

No, I haven't finished bragging about my HK trip, not just yet. My first trip to HK mah, of course I want to talk non-stop, and share all my photos. Sorry hor if you already sick of it (^_^). Bear with me for a little longer, then I can talk about beautiful Christchurch!

My original plan for today was a day trip to Macau. However, s
ince the weather hadn't been nice, there were still a lot left to see/do in Kowloon. Adding to that, we didn't want to take the risk of being stranded in Macau should there be another weather warning. That would be the last thing I want for my holiday. So, we ditched Macau for Kowloon, taking it easy.

Exploring Mongkok

One of the main reason we came back to Mongkok was for THIS....

The infamous "smelly tofu"

It is big, hot, crispy and smelly (actually not that smelly lah, it was falsely exaggerated I think), and HEAVENLY! HK$ 6 each. Well worth it!

Reaaally? I think may be I have poor sense of smell. I was introduced to this HK smelly tofu at Mongkok by a friend, and he told me that it is a place that you cannot missed coz’ you can smell it miles away. But hor, had it not has the big red fabric sign hanging on top, I didn’t think I would have found it.

Misha:
Hello princess! Yeah Lei Garden is nice and their service is very good too. Really thanks for your recommendation of this place in your blog. (^_^)

Chen:
Emm…..Beijing one should be authentic leh. Aiyo, even HK one which supposed to be authentic too also not that smelly to me leh. I think it’s our sense of smell lah. Different ppl is sensitive to different smell.

Liwan:

Jackson:
